Because there are no wider teeth on each end of the comb, it makes separating your lashes really easy!Īnd finally, eye brushes: Until a few months ago, the only eye brushes I used were from the Sigma kit I bought back in 2010, but I’ve branched out slightly. Sigma has come out with so many new brushes since I last bought mine, but the price has also gone up significantly, so I definitely recommend checking out my Morphe post if you haven’t already. I also use the lash comb on my lower lashes after I apply mascara. What I use for my brows: I don’t go too crazy with my brows – I just brush them with the Real Techniques lash-brow groomer and then fill them in with the Sigma E65 small angle brush. Mine isn’t pictured because I think there are plenty of good powder brushes on the market as long as they don’t shed (I’m looking at you Sigma F30). Then I go in with a large powder brush to blend it in. It’s the perfect size to fit under my eyes to set my concealer with a translucent powder, and I even use it to place my loose setting powder on the rest of my face. Especially if you have a really full coverage product, this helps it to not look streaky!Īnd lastly, the Real Techniques setting brush is fabulous for exactly that – setting your makeup. The Real Techniques expert face brush is great for applying or blending foundation. It officially replaced my old Sigma angled blush brush which I loved so dearly until it fell apart. When I want to apply any other blush, I reach for my Morphe E4 angled brush. Currently I’ve been using it primarily for bronzer and Elf’s mellow mauve blush which tends to show up like a warm bronzer on me, so I don’t have to worry too much about washing it as often. I love the blush brush for both blush and bronzer, so it’s a great multitasking brush. They have some great value kits that you can buy but I think some of their best ones are those that you (unfortunately) have to buy individually. Starting with face brushes: I think Real Techniques makes some fabulous brushes for the face. Keep in mind these aren’t all the brushes I use on a day to day basis, but they are the ones I reach for most often (that’s why they’re dirty!) So over the last few months, I’ve noticed that one of my most popular posts was the one about Morphe brushes, and I realized I haven’t written about my all time favorite ones from all the brands I have.
